Awe

Awe asks what it means to stand before something larger than yourself – something so vast, sacred, or beautiful that it quiets you for a moment and expands you at the same time.

Have you ever encountered a place, feeling, or experience that filled you with such depth and reverence that words seemed inadequate? Awe lives in those moments – the ones that remind us how small we are, yet how deeply connected we are to everything around us.

While creating this piece, I looked down at my paint palette and was struck by its unexpected beauty. Layers of color, movement, texture, and spontaneity had formed something meaningful all on their own. In that moment I realized the
palette itself belonged in the work.

What is often discarded or overlooked transformed into something meaningful.

Awe is a reminder to appreciate those quiet moments that remind us to pause, notice beauty, and feel connected to something greater than ourselves.
